Meet Beth
Beth Getsinger brings both personal experience and professional expertise to her work in aesthetics. After struggling with melasma herself, she developed a deeper understanding of how skin concerns can affect confidence. That experience inspired her to learn more about corrective skincare and advanced treatments and ultimately help others achieve healthy, beautiful skin.
Beth has been part of the Albany team for five years and describes the practice as feeling like a second home. She values Albany's commitment to personalized, patient-centered care and appreciates being part of a team that believes every patient deserves to feel seen, heard, and cared for throughout their journey.
Her approach is built on honesty, trust, and education. Beth believes in open conversations that help patients understand what to expect, and she prefers a thoughtful, step-by-step approach rather than overwhelming patients with too many treatments or products at once.
Advanced Training in Corrective Skincare
Beth completed her training at Hollywood Institute, where she studied facial specialization and developed expertise in electrology and laser treatments. She has continued to build her knowledge through advanced certifications and specialized training in several of Albany's skincare modalities.
Her credentials include certification as a facial specialist, electrologist, and laser professional, as well as specialized training in HydraFacial, SkinPen, DMK, VI Peel, and BioRe Peel. This broad range of training allows her to approach different skin concerns with a variety of treatment options.
Beth's personal experience with melasma has also shaped her interest in corrective skincare and pigmentation concerns. She combines her formal training with a commitment to continued learning, patient education, and individualized treatment planning.

Beth's Advanced Training and Credentials
Beth graduated from Hollywood Beauty Institute in 2018, with her Licenses in aesthetics and laser hair removal.
After graduating she went on to work for The Spa at PGA National until Covid hit and gave her the opportunity to start training in her other passion in the art of lash extensions.
Signature Treatments
Beth's personal favorite treatment is SkinPen microneedling because of its versatility. She appreciates that it can be used for everything from a lighter resurfacing treatment to deeper scar correction and can be particularly useful for patients with pigmentation concerns who may not be candidates for laser treatments. She also values the ability to combine SkinPen with chemical peels when appropriate to support the treatment of hyperpigmentation.
