Elsa McGilvray, MSN, APRN, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Albany Aesthetics with advanced training across medical aesthetics, regenerative medicine, dermatology, and sexual wellness. She is passionate about combining her background in medicine with her love of helping patients feel confident in their own skin.
For Elsa, aesthetic medicine is about much more than enhancing appearance. Elsa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth before completing her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program, at Florida Atlantic University. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), bringing a comprehensive medical foundation to her work in aesthetics and wellness.
Her advanced training extends across multiple areas of aesthetic and regenerative medicine. Elsa has received specialized training in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRF therapies, microneedling, laser treatments, skin rejuvenation, sexual wellness therapies, and ultrasound-guided joint injections.
She is committed to ongoing education and regularly pursues advanced training to continue providing safe, effective, evidence-based care. Her continued learning allows her to stay current with evolving treatment approaches while maintaining her focus on natural-looking results and individualized patient care.
